First commercial electronics project I've had. Basically the company had this problem, that emplyees knew when to have a break but somehow always forgat when it finishes. Well, the company asked me if I can make a system which controls the bells in their company.
LED snowflake
This was a sub project when I was making the robot. I made an LED snowflake just before christmas. It consists of 37 ultra bright LEDs which can be individually controlled. Again I'm using 74hc595.
7 segment display controller
Of course this is not as impressive as line follower, but to get to the line follower I had to do simlpper tasks, like this one. Basically this little device helped me to debug and check the values from sensors.
LED dot matrix screen
A very simple 8x8 or even smaller dot matrix display which can be controlled through USART, I was using ftdi232 to make it USB compatible. Continue rading if you wan to check the video.
