Of course this is not as impressive as line follower, but to get to the line follower I had to do simlpper tasks, like this one. Basically this little device helped me to debug and check the values from sensors.

If you check the line follower project, there is a schematics for this project, you can see that I made the 7 segment controller on 74hc595 to reduce the outpins used from micro. The funny thing is, I had to do this project all over again in first year in my university, as a display for REF counter, but that's a different project, and of course because I've done the simple 7 segment display, I and my friend added character display to the REF counter.
